Fontana Arte Parola glass Table led Lamp

Parola by FontanaArte is a diffused-light table lamp designed by Gae Aulenti and Piero Castiglioni in 1980, now regarded as an enduring icon of Italian design. A single object brings together three different types and processes of glass — blown, natural and natural crystal — representing an exemplary model of integration between craftsmanship and industry. The structure is crafted in borosilicate glass, the diffuser in glossy blown glass coloured in the mass — available in white and amber — and the base in transparent ground glass. The power cable is finished in brindle fabric, with a black dimmer and plug included.

With its refined proportions — 200 mm in diameter and 530 mm in height — and the warm quality of its light, Parola suits beautifully a living room or a bedroom setting. The light source is LED or halogen with an E14 lampholder, delivering a colour temperature of 2700 K for a warm, enveloping atmosphere. The dimmable function — with dimmer included — allows the light intensity to be adjusted to suit any mood. The protection rating is IP20, the insulation class is Class II, and the lamp is compatible with voltages from 100–240 V, making it suitable for international use across EU, AUS, USA, UK and Japanese markets.
