Louis Poulsen

Louis Poulsen & Co. was founded in 1911. Since 1924 began a successful collaboration with designer Poul Henningsen, with the participation and victory to the 'Exposition Internationale des Arts Decoratifs and Industriels Modernes in Paris. 

So begins the distribution of lamps in most of the world and in 1958 launched the PH5 lamp, a worldwide success on every front, still one of his most famous lighting solutions. In 1997, Louis Poulsen Lighting is the first company in Denmark, famous for its architectural approach to development and the close collaboration with the architects, is aimed at professional and private lighting markets, producing and developing lighting solutions for indoor applications and external. The projects Poulsen undergo extensive testing to optimize comfort, function and atmosphere (FCA), have a quality and a unique line of essential and that makes them evergreen, always in step with the times. Numerous successes and awards, over the past 70 years, they have accompanied the company: the lamp Charisma, Enigma of Shoichi Uchiyama, Campbell by the designer Louise Campbell, Aeros designed by Ross Lovegrove, AJ by Arne Jacobsen and the most modern LED lamps in collaboration with Foster + Partners.
