Louis Poulsen Panthella 160 V3 Portable is the rechargeable battery-powered table lamp from the renowned Danish brand Louis Poulsen, the third evolution of the iconic design created by Verner Panton in 1971. The body is entirely crafted from injection-moulded polymer — in translucent opal or opaque recycled polymer — with a base also made from recycled polymer, combining a refined aesthetic with a sustainable approach. The 2.5 W LED light source at 2700 K delivers warm, enveloping illumination, with a gradual dimming function activated by pressing the top knob.

With IP44 certification and up to 8.5 hours of autonomy thanks to a rechargeable and replaceable 18650 lithium-ion battery (3100 mAh) — rechargeable via USB-C cable — the Panthella 160 V3 Portable suits both indoor and outdoor environments, fitting naturally into spaces such as the outdoor, the living room or the bedroom. It creates a uniquely atmospheric glow wherever a fixed power supply is unavailable. The lamp switches on and off with a medium press of the top knob, while a long press activates the lock/unlock function; a white indicator light on the base signals the charging status.

The Panthella 160 V3 Portable is available in a broad palette of finishes: opal polymer shades in White, Blue Grey, Blue, Rose and Beige; opaque recycled polymer shades in Black, Indigo Blue, Coral, Orange, Yellow, Brass Metallised and High Lustre Chrome. The new 2025 finishes Burgundy and Green further expand the collection. The supplied cable is white for the Opal White, Pale Rose and White Acrylic variants, and black for all others. The lamp is supplied with a USB-C cable but without an adapter, available separately as an accessory; it is compatible with standard USB adapters with a minimum output of 1.5 A. The universal input voltage of 100–240 V makes it compatible with sockets worldwide (EU, AUS, USA, UK, JAP), with a 5 V DC output. Dimensions are 160 mm upper diameter, 106 mm base diameter and 241 mm height. Insulation class III completes the product's safety specifications.
