Flos Bellhop Portable battery lamp

Flos Bellhop is a portable battery lamp designed by Edward Barber and Jay Osgerby, originally created for the permanent home of the Design Museum in London, inaugurated in 2016, and unveiled at the Salone del Mobile in 2017. Crafted from lightweight polycarbonate — with a coloured PC base and dome, and an opal photo-etched injection-moulded diffuser — its iconic mushroom silhouette is conceived as a modern candle, casting a soft, glare-free light that wraps around itself. The integrated 2.5 W LED delivers warm light at 2700 K with a luminous flux of 151 lm, creating an intimate and welcoming atmosphere.

With a rechargeable battery offering up to 24 hours of autonomy and USB-C charging cable included (120 cm useful length, adapter not included; charging time approximately 3 hours), Bellhop moves effortlessly from room to room, free from any cable constraints. The push-button switch on the base activates a 4-level dimmer, while a battery status indicator is located beneath the base. An ideal choice for the living room or the bedroom, its portability also makes it a refined companion for outdoor settings. The compact dimensions — Ø125 × 210 mm — and compatibility with EU, USA, UK, AUS and JAP voltages (100–240 V) make Bellhop a versatile and sophisticated lighting accent, available in a range of colour finishes.
