Tizio 50th Anniversary - Version with light bulb of the historic lamp, in the new 2022 red Special Edition. Adjustable head and arms. Complete with push button with two lighting intensities.
Artemide celebrates Tizio's 50th anniversary with a Special Edition, made in Richard Sapper's favorite red. Tizio is an icon not only of Artemide production but of Italian design. Designed 50 years ago (in 1972) it is still absolutely contemporary, also thanks to the update of the low voltage halogen source with an integrated LED. It is a timeless product thanks to the intelligence with which it combines its elements and the elegance with which the talent of a master like Sapper synthesizes it.
Tizio is not just a piece of design present as much in museums around the world as on the desks of homes and offices; is a contemporary sculpture that hides a combination of technical innovation and ingenuity in the apparent simplicity of the form. The lamp is characterized by an agile system of joints without electric cables, in constant balance through counterweights, in which the same arms offer themselves as current conductors. You can use a 2.5W LED bulb with GY6.35 socket not included.
