Danish Designer Mads Odgård, born in 1960, is a leading figure in the new generation of International designers. He loves minimalism and describes himself as "Mr less is more", in fact he would prefer to remove rather than add. Mads Odgård, who has been a Product Designer since 1988, believes first of all that an excellent design, if designed to last, must be logical and functional. He made simplicity his banner. His minimalist style and his practical approach, have earned him international acclaim: he has in fact won several prestigious awards, including the German Design Council Award and the Red Dot Germany. He is a graduate of the Royal Danish Academy of Fine Arts, Denmark's Design School and the Swiss Art Centre of Europe. With over 30 years of design experience, his designs are logical and joyful. His motto is: "Less is more, aims at the simplicity and livability of the heart".
