Paola Navone was born in 1950 and in 1973 she graduated in architecture from the Politecnico in her hometown, Turin. Frank, eclectic and globetrotter, in her work she is strongly influenced by the Eastern tradition.

He collaborates with Alessandro Mendini, Ettore Sottsass Jr. and Andrea Branzi in the Alchimia group, soon becoming an icon of Italian design. In 1983 in Osaka she was awarded the prestigious International Design Award, in 1999 she won the Prix d’éxcellence of Marie Claire Maison in Paris and in 2000 she was named Designer of the Year by the German magazine Architektur & Wohnen. In 1988 he founded the Cappellini Mondo brand with Giulio Cappellini and has been in charge of the artistic direction of the Gervasoni company since 1998, as well as personally dealing with the design of most of the collections.

Architect, designer and art director, he collaborates with companies such as Knoll International, Alessi, Driade, Molteni, Natuzzi, Lando, Kasthall, Opinion Ciatti, Slide, Triconfort, Riva 1920, Poliform and Emu. His works and his training have marked the history of made in Italy design.
