Fontana Arte Pinecone Large suspension lamp

Pinecone Large by FontanaArte is a suspension lamp of exceptional artisanal character, designed by Paola Navone in collaboration with FontanaArte. Its diffuser is born from the ancient caged blown glass technique: the master glassblower mouth-blows the glass bubble inside a metal cage, which only partially contains its natural expansion. The molten glass fills the spaces and swells in a sinuous and unexpected way, creating a play of tension between material and structure that makes each piece truly one of a kind. The metal cage is then further refined with a galvanic treatment that enhances its sheen and brilliance.

The Pinecone Large comes in two distinct expressions: in the transparent version, the observer can read a double level of structure, while the interweaving of the metal basket casts a kaleidoscopic play of shadows onto the surrounding surfaces; in the white version, the glass gently follows the cage, underlining its geometries and generating an elegant, enveloping diffused light. The lamp is available in four finishes: White-Gold, Transparent-Gold, White-Chrome and Transparent-Chrome. With a diameter of 500 mm and a height of 520 mm, for a maximum suspension height of 250 cm, it is a luminaire of strong scenographic impact, perfectly suited to enhance refined spaces such as the living room or the bedroom. The E26-E27 lampholder is compatible with both LED and halogen light sources: recommended options are an LED 21W E27 (2700K, 2452 lm) or a halogen 116W E27 (2800K, 2135 lm), neither of which is included. The dimmable function allows the light intensity to be adjusted at will, adapting the atmosphere to any mood or occasion. The 100–240 V input voltage ensures compatibility with the electrical standards of EU, USA, Australia, UK and Japan, with an IP20 protection rating.
