Fontana Arte Pinecone Large table lamp

Pinecone Large by FontanaArte is a table lamp designed by Paola Navone, whose diffuser is born from the ancient technique of caged blown glass: the glass master blows the glass bubble by mouth into a metal cage, which only partially contains its natural expansion. The result is an extraordinary artisanal object of formal tension, in which the molten glass fills the spaces, swells in a sinuous and unexpected way, and partially escapes the structure that holds it. The metal cage is then further embellished with a galvanic treatment that enhances its surface, making it shiny and brilliant. The lamp is available in four finishes: White-Gold, Transparent-Gold, White-Chrome and Transparent-Chrome.

Striking whether switched on or off, the Pinecone Large stands out for its strong scenographic impact, ideal for enhancing the living room or the bedroom with a distinctive luminous presence. The transparent version allows the observer to perceive a double structural layer, while the interweaving of the metal cage casts a kaleidoscopic play of shadows onto the surrounding surfaces. The white version, on the other hand, delicately follows the cage and underlines its geometries, producing an elegant and enveloping diffused light. With a total height of 520 mm and a diameter of 500 mm, the lamp features an E26-E27 lampholder compatible with LED or halogen light sources (not included): a 21W E27 LED (2700K, 2452 lm) or a 116W E27 halogen (2800K, 2135 lm) is recommended. The dimmable function with included switch allows easy adjustment of light intensity, while the universal voltage of 100–240 V ensures international compatibility. The power cable, dimmer and plug are transparent, preserving the aesthetic purity of the piece.
