Flos MY CIRCUIT flexible ceiling profile

Flos My Circuit Flexible Ceiling Profile is the central structural component of the My Circuit lighting system, designed by Michael Anastassiades for Flos Architectural. It is a flexible electromechanical profile available in lengths of 8, 15 and 20 metres, designed to be cut by the customer to the exact size required by the project. The profile is supplied wound in a spiral, to be unrolled before installation, with the mounting tool already included in the packaging. Its compact dimensions — 24 mm wide and 40 mm total height — ensure a discreet presence on the ceiling, enhancing the visual continuity of the lighting path.

My Circuit is the first interior lighting structure to feature a flexible profile, enabling continuous, fully customised paths to be traced across the ceiling with complete compositional freedom. The system is designed for environments that call for tailor-made lighting solutions with a strong aesthetic impact: from the residential living room to exhibition and commercial spaces, through to the representative office. The profile features insulation class III and IP20 protection, and has no integrated driver: the 48V power supply is managed by dedicated modules to be added to the main path in an intermediate or final position, according to the project requirements.

The My Circuit design and installation process involves the sequential selection and combination of fixing modules, which define the supporting path to be mounted on the ceiling. The flexible profile is then hooked onto this structure, adapting to the chosen shape like a structural rib. Once the framework is complete, lighting fixtures and accessories can be installed via their respective adapters. The compatible light modules — available for individual purchase — include the My Spot and My Light Shadow Spot projector families, the slim My Disc body for downlight and mood lighting, and the My Lines system, which allows a fixture to be suspended from the profile, creating a pendant-like lamp in the space. Accessories are not included and must be ordered separately.
