Flos Light Shadow DOTS Mini LED recessed spotlight

Flos Light Shadow DOTS Mini is a recessed LED spotlight by Flos Architectural, engineered to deliver extreme glare control in an exceptionally compact format. With a diameter of just Ø32.5 mm and a height of 55 mm, the module features a minimal recess depth combined with an exclusive patented optical system, defined by the inverted shape of its cut-off cones, which ensures outstanding shielding of the LED source. The integrated light source delivers 3W at 900mA DC, with a colour temperature of 3000K (warm white) and a colour rendering index of CRI90, providing high-quality light and accurate colour reproduction.

Light Shadow DOTS Mini is suited to a wide range of applications, from residential interiors to commercial spaces, from office environments and retail settings to designer living rooms and bedrooms. Four different optics are available — Spot 10°, Medium 22°, Flood 33° and Wide Flood 45° — allowing precise adaptation to the lighting requirements of each space. Available finishes include black, white, steel, bronze and copper; the black finish, in particular, delivers the highest level of visual comfort by minimising glare and direct visibility of the LED source. The spotlight is dimmable and compatible with 0-10V, DALI, DALI 2, Main dimming and Casambi remote control systems (via a remote driver, not included). Casambi management supports up to 200 devices through the Flos Control powered by Casambi app, available on the Apple Store and Google Play. The IP23 protection rating ensures safe use in indoor environments, while voltage compatibility across EU-AUD-USA-UK-JAP makes it suitable for international installations.

Installation is carried out via a bayonet system with interchangeable spotlights, available in TRIM (with frame) and NO TRIM (without frame) versions. The No Trim version allows the spotlight to be integrated flush with a plasterboard ceiling, enabling modular in-line compositions of 2 or 4 units at variable spacing. The Trim version is intended for single installations only. In both cases, installation formworks are not included and must be ordered separately, as is the driver. The 2700K colour temperature version is available on request only.
