Zanotta Sella chair

Sella is a complementary piece by Zanotta, designed by Achille and Pier Giacomo Castiglioni in 1957. The seat is a black racing bicycle saddle, set on a pink painted steel rod and a cast iron base.

The structure consists of three distinct elements: the racing saddle, the painted steel rod and the cast iron base. The finish is single, with the chromatic contrast between the black of the saddle and the pink of the rod as the defining trait of the design. Dimensions are 71 × 33 × 33 cm.
