Vossloh Schwabe ELXd 2x35W 1-10V is a dimmable electronic ballast for T5 fluorescent lamps, designed to provide stable power supply, high energy efficiency and accurate light control. Thanks to Vossloh Schwabe electronic technology, it ensures reliable, flicker-free lamp ignition and consistent performance with both AC and DC power supplies.
This electronic ballast is suitable for Class I lighting fixtures used in emergency lighting systems, public buildings, industrial facilities, corridors, storage rooms and office environments. The analogue 1-10V interface allows smooth light level adjustment, while its optimized ignition makes it ideal for installations equipped with motion sensors.
The high-efficiency Cut-Off technology helps reduce energy consumption while maintaining stable light output. It also provides flicker-free dimming for amalgam lamps without shortening lamp life and automatically restarts after lamp replacement.
Its very low standby power consumption enables the ELXd series to comply with the MINERGIE standard, making it a reliable solution for professional lighting applications requiring efficiency, durability and precise lighting control.
What is a 1-10V dimming system?
A 1-10V dimming system is an analogue lighting control method. By applying a control voltage between 1 and 10 volts, the ballast adjusts the lamp brightness: 10V provides full light output, while 1V reduces the light to the minimum dimming level supported by the ballast.
Can this ballast be used with motion sensors?
Yes. It is designed to ensure reliable and fast lamp ignition in installations controlled by presence or motion sensors.
Is it suitable for emergency lighting systems?
Yes. The ballast is suitable for emergency lighting applications and provides consistent light output on both AC and DC power supplies.
