Tridonic PC 2x14-35/49/54w T5 PRO-M IP ballast is a professional fixed-output electronic ballast manufactured by Tridonic, designed to drive two fluorescent lamps simultaneously. Compatible with the main T5 wattages — 2×14/21/28/35/49/54 W — as well as T8 2×58 W lamps, it ensures constant luminous flux and extended lamp life through a warm start function with an ignition time of under 0.5 seconds (smart heating). The low-profile metal housing measures 360×30×21 mm with a 350 mm lateral fixing bracket, and carries an IP20 protection rating.

This professional ballast operates on both alternating current at 220–240 V AC, 50/60 Hz and direct current at 198–280 V DC, making it highly versatile for a wide range of electrical installations. It integrates Intelligent Voltage Guard, a protection system that signals overvoltage conditions and guards against undervoltage, and is fully compatible with emergency lighting systems in accordance with EN 50172. The energy efficiency class is A2/A2 BAT, the BLF in AC/DC mode is 1.00 for all supported lamp configurations, and the nominal output voltage is 300 V. The maximum case temperature (tc) is generally 75 °C, with an ambient temperature (ta) of up to 50–60 °C depending on lamp wattage. Estimated operational lifetime reaches 50,000 hours.
