Tridonic Electronic Ballast 1x26W-42W

Tridonic Electronic Ballast 1x26W-42W (ref. 22176413) is a high-efficiency electronic ballast manufactured by Tridonic, designed to control neon discharge lamps in configurations of 1x26W, 32W, 40W, 42W or 2x26W. The housing is made of polycarbonate, with compact dimensions of 159 x 34 x 82 mm, and offers a nominal lifetime of up to 50,000 hours (at ta 50 °C with a failure rate of 0.2% per 1,000 hours), ensuring long-term reliability and consistent operational performance.

The device carries the CELMA Energy Efficiency Index A2 BAT / A2 classification and delivers constant luminous flux regardless of mains voltage fluctuations, thanks to the built-in Intelligent Voltage Guard function, which provides overvoltage indication and automatic shutdown in the event of undervoltage. The ballast can operate with 1 or 2 light sources and features automatic restart after replacement of defective lamps, as well as safety shutdown EOL 2 at the end of lamp life. Installation is made straightforward by the tool-free mounting system, integrated terminal cover and strain relief, and 3 independent strain relief channels that also allow through wiring. With an IP20 protection rating and 220–240 V input voltage, the ballast is compatible with luminaires of protection class I and II, suitable for emergency lighting systems compliant with EN 50172, and for luminaires marked M and MM as per EN 60598, VDE 0710 and VDE 0711. Temperature protection complies with EN 61347-2-3 C5e.
