Casambi is Intelligent Casambi devices have their own intelligence. Intelligence is replicated in each node so that at no point in the path are there any possibility of errors occurring. The system itself is in constant synchronization based on consensus. 1.2 Connected Casambi devices connect when necessary. An Internet connection is not required for general operation and ordinary functionality. Bluetooth Low Energy technology is already implemented in smartphones and tablets, so connections can be established without additional gateways. The connection speed between a smart device and Casambi devices is fast and uninterrupted, just open the App to start the connection to the system.
Intuitive This system is intuitive: at the first connection the nodes are automatically associated and can be used and customized by anyone, without the need to involve experts for commissioning.
Wireless The Casambi network is based on the Bluetooth Low Energy protocol, the best high energy efficiency wireless technology ready for the challenges of the future. 2. Bluetooth Low Energy The Bluetooth Low Energy, also known as Bluetooth 4.0+, Bluetooth Smart or simply BLE, was originally designed by Nokia as Wibree and then adopted by the Bluetooth Special Interest Group (SIG) and released in 2010. The low power consumption feature of the BLE allows developers to build products powered by small button batteries or energy storage devices, making the BLE the best protocol to use in wireless lighting control applications.
