TCI CASAMBI Interface Bluetooth Wireless Control Unit CBU-ASD DALI 0-10V 1-10V Dimmable

The TCI CASAMBI CBU-ASD is a Bluetooth wireless interface for dimmable control of LED and halogen drivers, compatible with DALI, 0-10V and 1-10V protocols. Built on Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE) technology, it enables intelligent lighting management without an external gateway, directly via smartphone, tablet or smartwatch.

The CBU-ASD integrates seamlessly into residential and commercial lighting systems, enabling multi-channel control of RGB scenes and adjustable colour temperature. When configured as DALI Standalone, it acts as both controller and power source, minimising wiring and components. The wireless mesh network is created automatically, making the system easy to install and highly scalable.

Main technical features

The module operates with an input voltage of 100-240 Vac, with an energy consumption of 1.1 W (PF 0.6) and a maximum output current of 0.6 A. The output is configurable as analogue 0-10V sink/source or digital DALI Standalone, supporting up to 2 DALI drivers and 2 1-10V drivers. Single control extends to 2, 3 and 4 channels, with dimming compatible with standard on/off wall switches. Firmware is upgradeable OTA (over the air). Compact dimensions of 56.5 × 38.5 × 22.3 mm, rated IP20, PVC housing. Operating range: -20 to +50 °C.

Safety and protection

The CBU-ASD is rated IP20 for indoor installation. It does not comply with IEC 60929 and must be used exclusively in closed systems, not connected to external DALI networks. A rigid or flexible 0.75–1.5 mm² cable is recommended for wiring.
