The ballast integrates all components required for lamp control: a low-loss electromechanical ballast, a power factor correction capacitor and a multi-impulse electronic ignitor for precise and dependable lamp starting. Impedance is controlled within a 2% tolerance, ensuring a constant light output over time — an element essential in installations where luminous flux stability is a priority. The self-resetting thermal protection safeguards the unit against overheating and restores operation automatically without manual intervention.
