Osram QTI 2x18-42 dim Quicktronic intelligent ballast 1/10V T/E

Osram QTI 2x18-42 dim Quicktronic Intelligent is an electronic dimmable ballast manufactured by Osram, designed to control and regulate neon discharge lamps. Built in white PVC, the unit features compact dimensions — 123 mm in length, 79 mm in width and 33 mm in depth — enabling straightforward integration into existing luminaires. It supports a lamp power of 2x18W up to 2x42W and operates at a nominal voltage of 220–240 V (50–60 Hz), with an AC input voltage range of 198–264 V and DC input of 154–276 V. The internal operating frequency of 44–120 kHz eliminates any perceptible flicker.

Thanks to compatibility with the 1/10V control interface and the DALI variant, this ballast delivers precise and flexible dimming, making it well suited to professional installations in industrial environments, open-plan offices, corridors, sports halls and emergency lighting systems compliant with EN 50172/DIN VDE 0108-100. The Touch DIM function enables manual dimming without a dedicated controller, using standard switches. The ballast delivers equal luminous flux on both AC and DC supply, supports amalgam lamps without reducing their lifespan, and includes automatic restart after lamp replacement. The IP20 protection rating confirms its use in protected indoor environments.
