Lodes Flar glass table lamp

Lodes Flar is a glass table and floor lamp designed by Patrick Norguet for LODES, combining artisanal craft and precision engineering into a truly distinctive lighting object. The name evokes the image of a flicker — the French flamboiement — an intense burst of light, which perfectly describes the lamp's luminous character when lit. Inspired by traditional windproof lanterns, Flar features a blown glass shade with a rounded silhouette, designed to enclose a T65 Tubolar LED bulb that amplifies the light source and diffuses a soft, enveloping glow through the glass, reminiscent of a contemporary candle. The steel base is crafted using 3D laser-cutting technology and unfolds like a flower to cradle the glass bubble: the contrast between the geometric precision of the metal and the uniqueness of the blown glass defines the authentic personality of Flar.

Flar is available in two sizes: the Medium version, 47 cm tall with an upper diffuser diameter of 35.5 cm and a lower diameter of 36 cm, and the Large version, 62.5 cm tall with a lower diffuser diameter of 44 cm. The base is available in Terra and Champagne finishes, while the diffuser comes in Honey and Turquoise. The black power cable incorporates a switch-integrated dimmer for effortless adjustment of light intensity. The lamp uses an E26-E27 lampholder with a maximum output of 25 W LED — bulb not included — and supports input voltages from 100 to 240 V, making it compatible with EU, USA, UK, Australian and Japanese standards. Its IP20 protection rating makes it suitable for indoor use only. Whether placed on a console table or beside a sofa in a carefully composed living room, or combined in pairs to play with scale in hotel lounges or retail spaces, Flar proves to be an exceptionally versatile piece.
