Teso Console is a design product created by Renzo Piano in 1989, part of the three-piece collection called Teso which means 'taut'. The main material used in the collection is float glass, obtained thanks to the high compression coefficient of the material itself, a manufacturing process from which the name of the collection itself derives. The end result will be the unique vision of a monobloc 82 cm high and 240 cm long - lower than the Teso Bookcase - made up of 15mm thick shelves and uprights held together by chromed metal tie rods. Teso Consolle is very versatile: it can be both a small bookcase with two shelves and a low glass cabinet, perfect for living and relaxation areas. Surely the work of the Italian architect is nothing short of original: the console is a symbol of elegance and delicacy that remains imprinted in the history of design and of FontanaArte.
