Flos To-Tie T2 glass table lamp

Flos To-Tie T2 is a glass table lamp designed by Guglielmo Poletti for Flos, built around just three elements: a transparent glass cylinder, an anodized aluminum bar, and a cable. The cable is not merely a functional component — it holds the entire structure together through mechanical tension alone, with no glue used, making each part individually replaceable and separately recyclable. The aluminum bar integrates a 7 W LED source with a color temperature of 2700 K and a CRI greater than 90, delivering warm, chromatically accurate light with direct emission and a luminous flux adjustable between 10 and 100%.

To-Tie T2 embodies an essential and sustainable approach to lighting design, where the structure itself becomes the aesthetic. The 1800 mm black fabric cable features an integrated dimmer switch for continuous brightness control, while the plug-in power supply with interchangeable plugs ensures compatibility with the world's main electrical standards. Standing 340 mm tall with a 200 mm diameter, it suits the living room or bedroom equally well, enhancing surfaces and atmospheres with formal precision. The bar also serves as a handle to move the lamp without leaving fingerprints on the glass.
