The SCPOWER SMT-M-040CT 40W ELV Triac dimmable constant current LED driver is a professional electronic power supply designed to provide stable, accurate power to LED strips and modules. Built in plastic with an IP20 protection rating, it features compact dimensions of 171.5 × 54 × 20 mm and a clean white finish suited for indoor installation in dry or damp locations. The ELV designation indicates the output circuit operates at extra-low voltage, a safety condition defined by IEC standards that minimises risk in the event of a fault.

This driver accepts a universal input range of 100 to 277 V AC, making it fully compatible with the main global electrical standards (EU, USA, UK, Australia, Japan). Its Triac phase-cut dimming function, supporting both leading edge and trailing edge modes, enables smooth, flicker-free brightness control compatible with common Triac dimmers. Output current is adjustable via dip-switch across a wide range from 300 mA to 1.4 A, with scalable power from 19.5 W up to 40 W and output voltage ranging from 3 V to 65 V depending on the selected current. The driver features a built-in active PFC function, efficiency up to 80%, and comprehensive protections against short circuit, overcurrent, overload and overtemperature with automatic recovery. Class 2 protection provides additional installation safety.
