Description

Designed in 1972 and reprinted in 2013, Undici, Onde belongs to the Sei simboli sinsemantici series, a project developed by Enzo Mari to explore the possibility of bringing artistic images into homes through a system of simple, universal symbols. The series comprises six graphic signs designed to overcome the idea of the unique work of art and make art more accessible through serial production.

In Undici, Onde, the fluid rhythm of three horizontal waves becomes a strong visual sign, defined by balance and repetition. The bold black shape contrasts with the white background, emphasizing Mari's approach to design as a clear and essential visual language, capable of communicating meaning through minimal forms.
