Undici, Freccia, a screen-printed wall hanging by Danese Milano, designed by Enzo Mari in 1972 (reissued in 2013), is part of a series of Six non-semantic symbols dedicated to exploring an essential and universal visual language.
The work depicts an isolated arrow, a pure and immediate graphic sign that, devoid of a defined meaning, acquires meaning in relation to its context. This ambiguity makes it an open image, capable of suggesting direction, movement, or simply an abstract presence.
Created using screen printing, it fully embodies Mari’s design rigor: forms reduced to the essential, strong visual impact, and communicative clarity. The work is part of Danese Milano’s initiative to make art accessible through mass production, without compromising on quality or cultural value.
An iconic and timeless graphic element, ideal for discreetly enhancing domestic or professional spaces.
