Danese Milano Undici, Cubo silkscreen printing

Designed in 1972 and reissued in 2013, Undici, Cubo belongs to the Sei simboli sinsemantici series, a project developed by Enzo Mari to explore the idea of bringing artistic images into domestic environments through a system of simple and universal graphic symbols. The series comprises six signs designed to make art more accessible through mass production, overcoming the traditional concept of the unique work of art.

In Undici, Cubo, the geometric structure of a cube is transformed into a bold graphic sign composed of essential lines and openings. The strong black shape on a white background highlights Mari's approach to visual communication, where clarity, reduction, and balance create a powerful symbol capable of conveying spatial depth through a minimal form.
