Danese Milano Pedestal Vase

Danese Milano Pedestal Vase, designed by Ron Gilad for Danese Milano, is a decorative vase combining a small porcelain insert with a beech wood base inspired by the plinths of classical sculpture. The project explores the relationship between scale, function and form, transforming an everyday object into a conceptual and deeply expressive presence.

The intentionally altered proportion between the small vase and the pedestal creates a striking visual effect: the object itself becomes sculpture, capable of redefining the perception of the surrounding space. The internal cavity allows water containment, preserving the object's full functionality. With a base measuring 80 × 80 mm and a total height of 312 mm, the Pedestal Vase stands out for the contrast between the warmth of natural wood and the refined purity of porcelain, making it ideal for spaces such as the living room or the office, where it becomes a sculptural element of distinctive character.
