Designed in 1958, Le Stanze reflects Enzo Mari's exploration of spatial perception through geometric abstraction. The composition is constructed from a grid of repeated architectural forms reminiscent of simplified rooms or openings, arranged to create a rhythmic visual structure across the print.

Through the repetition of modular shapes and contrasting colours, Mari translates the concept of space into a dynamic abstract system. The sequence of volumes and colours suggests depth and movement, demonstrating his rigorous approach to visual language and his ability to transform spatial relationships into clear and powerful graphic compositions.
