Danese Milano I Volti, Tre silkscreen printing

I Volti, Tre is a two-colour silkscreen print created in 2007 by Mimmo Paladino for Danese Milano, as part of the Giocosa Mente series. The project was conceived as a tribute to the centenary of Bruno Munari's birth, drawing inspiration from the eponymous work of art in moving images produced to celebrate his creative legacy. Through minimal graphic elements and essential lines, Paladino constructs a stylised face that becomes a symbolic and expressive image, capable of evoking a powerful and instantly recognisable visual presence with just a few strokes.

The composition reflects the playful and experimental spirit that has always defined Munari's thinking. The simplicity of the graphic sign, combined with the bold contrast of colours, transforms the face into a visual icon communicating rhythm, balance and imagination, continuing the dialogue between contemporary art and the educational creativity long associated with Danese Milano.
