Nemo Group at Milan Design Week 2025: nourishing spaces with courage

Categories : Lighting

On the occasion of the Milan Design Week 2025, Nemo Group presented a detailed design story that encompasses all the brands of the group: FontanaArte, Driade, ILTI Luce, Reggiani and Nemo Lighting. The narration was led by CEO Federico Palazzari, who introduced the innovations of each brand, highlighting the creative direction and the new professional relationships established with established and emerging designers.

“Nourishing spaces with a strong presence” is the expression with which Palazzari describes the vision behind this path, an all-Italian job that requires responsibility, foresight and passion for the project.

Let's discover the projects in detail!

FontanaArte: the balance between expressive force and tradition

Among the most significant innovations, FontanaArte stands out with the new Belle Haleine table lamp, designed by the Belgian Bertrand Lejoly. The creation represents a perfect balance between glass and metal, iconic materials for the brand founded in 1932. In fact, Lejoly manages to interpret the essence of FontanaArte with elegance and sobriety, offering a contemporary reinterpretation of its historical identity. According to Palazzari, it is a project with an “expressive force” capable of fitting naturally into the tradition, but at the same time of telling its evolution.

Belle Haleine is finally an object that stands out for its minimal elegance, attention to detail and a formal language consistent with the aesthetics of the brand. It is the confirmation of how FontanaArte still knows how to be current, innovative and deeply linked to designer design.

Milan Design Week 2025: Driade

For Driade, Palazzari uses an evocative image: “a design prairie”. The brand is thus described as a creative laboratory open to experimentation and research, faithful to its eclectic and visionary vocation. At Milan Design Week 2025, Driade strengthens its identity by collaborating with figures of great depth and new voices in contemporary design.

On the one hand, the dialogue with Philippe Starck, master of international design and historical presence in the Driade catalogue, continues. On the other hand, new collaborations are opening up with the duo Färg & Blanche, formed by the Swede Fredrik Färg and the French Emma Marga Blanche, known for an approach that combines artisanal rigor and technological experimentation.

Alongside them, also the duo Marie et Alexandre, Marie Cornil and Alexandre Willaume, who sensitively explore the value of traditional materials and techniques, reinventing the ordinary with poetry and intelligence. This dialogue between generations and different visions therefore allows Driade to remain faithful to its creative identity and, at the same time, to redefine it in a dynamic and ever-changing way.

ILTI Luce: new life for the Italian lighting aristocracy

A brand known for its interventions in places of culture, ILTI Luce has been the protagonist of a significant rebirth. After being acquired by Philips, which had foreseen its closure, the brand returns to the scene with renewed momentum thanks to the support of Nemo Group.

According to Palazzari, ILTI represents “the Italian lighting aristocracy”, and at Design Week 2025 it marks the beginning of a new course. The official debut takes place at Euroluce, where ILTI Luce presents itself with an offer focused on outdoor lighting, the result of the collaboration with the interior designer Fabio Santambrogio. A figure of great experience, Santambrogio becomes part of the future of the group, bringing a design vision that combines technical precision and attention to the architectural context.

ILTI Luce's new course then focuses on the enhancement of outdoor spaces, proposing solutions that combine aesthetics and functionality, advanced technology and design sensitivity. A relaunch that reaffirms the value of Italian expertise in the field of professional lighting.

Milan Design Week 2025: Reggiani

Reggiani, a historic brand specializing in architectural lighting, is also bringing a new product to Milan in the name of sustainable innovation. At FuoriSalone 2025, the company is presenting Hybrid, the first product to integrate the innovative ILM (Interchangeable LED Module) technology.

This interchangeable LED module, patented by Reggiani, allows for a simple and safe replacement of the light source, making the intervention comparable to that of a normal light bulb. The advantages are clear: longer product life, reduced maintenance costs and lower environmental impact.

Hybrid in fact represents the brand's concrete commitment to combining light quality, energy efficiency and environmental responsibility, central themes in the debate on the future of design and lighting. A tangible sign of Reggiani's ability to innovate while remaining faithful to its founding values.

Nemo Lighting: a dialogue between masters and new generations

To close the overview of Nemo Group's new products is Nemo Lighting, the group's identifying heart and the brand that more than any other embodies the intertwining of design and technology. At Milan Design Week 2025, Nemo presents new creations alongside its iconic Masters collection, which includes works by great masters such as Le Corbusier, Charlotte Perriand and Franco Albini.

But the real novelty is the opening to emerging designers from all over the world, with projects that enrich the catalog and demonstrate a desire for inclusion, discovery and renewal. Palazzari speaks of an “intertwining of past and future” that finds concrete expression in this virtuous contamination, where the solidity of tradition intertwines with the freshness of new perspectives.

The identity of Nemo Lighting is thus strengthened in a continuous dialogue between the historical roots of design and the challenges of contemporary innovation, demonstrating how a brand can be both a guardian of the past and a promoter of the future.
