Sorella lamp characteristics

The Sorella lamp was designed by the Italian company iGuzzini, leader in the architectural lighting sector. The lamp was in fact designed to offer diffused, soft and welcoming lighting, creating a pleasant atmosphere in different contexts.

Its minimalist and elegant design then reflects Italian mastery in the combination of form and function.

Therefore speaking of its characteristics, it is a compact table lamp with a protruding and only apparently unstable shape. This idea came to Adolfo Guzzini, who was fascinated by the shape of the boat's air vents on holiday spent with his family.

On top of that, Sister stands 12 inches tall and is made of ABS (acrylonitrile butadiene styrene, the same hard plastic used for Lego bricks). Stability is then ensured by a weight inside the base which allows the lamp to maintain an oblique position with respect to the surface on which it is positioned.

Re-released by the company in 2022, Sorella is available in two colors: black and white.

How the Sorella lamp evolves over time

Over the years, the Sorella lamp has however continued to evolve without losing its distinctive essence. Innovative materials and the latest lighting technologies have been integrated to ensure optimal performance and adaptability to contemporary needs.
