iGuzzini Sorella led table lamp

Sorella is a table lamp of compact dimensions, a projecting shape, apparently unstable. The idea came from Adolfo Guzzini, fascinated by the shape of the air vents on the boat on which he spent a holiday with his family. Returning to the company with some sketches, he works with the technical office to transform his idea of him into a luminous object. Two symmetrical parts join in the center of the body to reproduce the complex and elegant flared shape of the lens hood. The issue of stability is resolved with a weight placed inside the base, which allows the lamp to maintain an oblique position with respect to the surface on which it is placed. Reissued by the company in 2022, Sorella exists in two colors: black and white. An object that induces curiosity, questions, surprise. Sorella has been used for the set design of many science fiction films: 2001 A Space Odyssey, Space 1999, Star Trek.
