Artemide Funivia starter pack box

Funivia Starter Pack Box is the launch kit for the Funivia lighting system by Artemide Architectural, designed by Carlotta de Bevilacqua. This modular electromechanical cable system redefines the concept of a lighting network for interiors, combining an aluminium structure with an aramid fiber-reinforced cable measuring 10 metres, available in Black or White. The design concept draws on the essential spirit of mountaineering: the cable simultaneously carries energy and defines the structure, running through space horizontally, vertically and diagonally, free from compositional constraints.

Perfectly suited to both residential and contract environments, the Funivia system adapts effortlessly to living rooms, offices and commercial spaces where flexible, scalable lighting with strong visual impact is required. The Starter Pack includes everything needed to begin installation: an SMD ceiling power supply rated at 150W with 230V AC input and 48V DC output (dimensions 400×110×50 mm), a cable feeding device (102×20×48.6 mm), a diverter (Ø 40×55.5 mm), two single-cable supports (Ø 20×15 mm), two 60×60 mm cubes with turnbuckles, and an assembly tool. The aramid fiber-reinforced cable withstands varying mechanical tensions and thermal stress, and does not need to be cut: the included clips allow the cable run to be shortened as desired, ensuring maximum adaptability to any spatial configuration.

Light sources from the Funivia family — including Vector, Vector Pendant, Sharping, Sharping Pendant, Linear Diffusers and Suspension Linear Diffusers — can be added at any point along the cable using a bridge element that mechanically locks onto the cable and draws power directly from it, with no additional wiring required. Each luminaire is individually or collectively dimmable and controllable via the Artemide APP or Push system, enabling precise and intuitive light management. The protection rating is IP20, suitable for indoor use. Power supplies with different outputs and recessed versions are available on request.

No light sources are included in the box; they are available separately as installation accessories within the Funivia family.
