Wever & Ducrè Costa 1.0 is a rechargeable portable lamp and winner of the iF Design Award 2019, inspired by the coastline of Barcelona and the colourful nets of Spanish fishermen. Crafted in white polypropylene, its soft, organic silhouette is paired with a smart, versatile design: thanks to its stable base it can be placed directly on the floor as a floor lamp, or converted into a pendant using the optional dedicated accessory. The 2.5 W LED source delivers a CRI80 colour rendering index and an adjustable light temperature ranging from 2200 to 4000K, adapting effortlessly to any ambience. The 3-step dimming function and a luminous flux of 130 lm ensure perfectly calibrated, atmospheric lighting. The lithium-ion battery provides up to 8 hours of autonomy with a 5-hour charging time; the charger is included and compatible with voltages from 100–240 V (EU, AUD, USA, UK, JAP).

With its IP65 rating, Costa 1.0 is fully weatherproof, making it an ideal choice for outdoor settings such as gardens, terraces and patios, as well as indoor spaces like the living room or bedroom. Its compact dimensions — Ø235 x 350 mm — and lightweight construction make it easy to carry anywhere. The decorative hook, available in light blue, orange, yellow and black, echoes the vibrant spirit of coastal fabrics and can be ordered separately as an accessory, along with the suspension pole.
