Verpan Wire Portable rechargeable lamp

Known for its striking wire frame and luminous dome-shaped shade, the Wire lamp has long been one of Verner Panton's most distinctive designs. Originally designed in 1972, its unique combination of industrial materials and poetic forms made it an instant classic. More than fifty years later, Verpan brings this unmistakable silhouette back into every aspect of everyday life with the Wire Portable, a compact, cordless edition that captures the original sculptural spirit while adding mobility, versatility, and soft, atmospheric light wherever it is placed.

Wire Portable is made with a chrome-plated stainless steel structure, with an opal plastic shade and diffuser. It has an integrated dimmable LED module and is rechargeable with a transparent USB-C cable. It can also be used outdoors, but must always be stored indoors to avoid damage. The inner shell contains the light source and can be easily removed from the structure for recharging.
