Verpan VP Globe 50 suspension lamp

Verpan VP Globe 50 is the iconic suspension lamp designed by Verner Panton in 1969, one of the most visionary designers of the twentieth century and a leading figure of the space age. The VP Globe 50 is distinguished by its outer sphere with a diameter of 500 mm crafted in crystal-clear acrylic, inside which five reflectors suspended from steel chains — accented with splashes of colour — define a sculptural and unmistakable design. Panton's ambition was to create a lamp capable of drawing the eye and "uniting" a space, whether hung individually or in multiple compositions.

Thanks to its diffused light emission, the VP Globe 50 creates an enveloping atmospheric illumination, ideal for enhancing characterful interiors. It is perfectly suited above a dining table, in a hallway, or as a statement decorative piece in the living room. This version is the largest in the entire VP Globe collection and includes a metal canopy and a fabric cord adjustable up to 400 cm, making it easy to adapt to spaces with varying ceiling heights. The lampholder is type E26/E27 and supports an LED source with a maximum power of 60W, compatible with voltages from 100 to 240V for international use. The lamp is rated IP20, intended for indoor installations. It is available in Opal Glass/White and Chrome/Red/Blue colour options. The light source is not included.
