Verpan Spiegel led wall ceiling lamp
Description
The Spiegel lamp became a very famous piece of design in 1969, furnishing the Der Spiegel publishing house in Hamburg. Avant-garde object for modern and contemporary homes/places. The lamp can be mounted individually or to create different "facades" of light, becoming a real large-scale painting that interacts with the environment and the viewer. The large square lamp has a circular recess in the centre, containing the light source which is then hidden under a hemispherical lampshade to break and soften the light, banishing any reflections. Panton creates an architectural piece with Spiegel, a sculpture that acts as a lamp.
