Verpan Panto suspension lamp
Description
Designed by Verner Panton in 1977 and now produced by Verpan, the Panto suspension light is a fascinating example of Panton's skills as a designer. The lamp is composed of an external sphere in transparent crystalline acrylic, with four white reflectors inside, made of aluminum, suspended by three steel chains. The white is interrupted by a small red spot visible only from under the lamp, a classic Panton touch. The reflectors emit a soft and pleasant light and the sphere creates a magical bubble of light. Panto is a simple and complex lamp at the same time and is perfect to be placed above a dining table or counter, or in the living room.
