Verpan Panto suspension lamp

Verpan Panto is an iconic suspension lamp designed by Verner Panton in 1977 and currently produced by VERPAN. Its spherical form is crafted from crystal-clear transparent acrylic, housing four white aluminium reflectors suspended by three slender steel chains. The result is a soft, diffused light emission that turns the fixture into a true bubble of light. A small red detail, visible only when looking up at the lamp from below, reveals Panton's unmistakable design signature: subtle, ironic, and utterly distinctive.

The Verpan Panto balances formal simplicity with structural complexity, making it an ideal choice for a design-led living room or a contemporary kitchen, suspended above a dining table or a counter. It is available in two sizes: the Ø40 cm version, weighing 5 kg, accepts an E14 bulb (230V) or E12 (120V) up to 60W; the Ø50 cm version, weighing 10 kg, is compatible with an E27 socket (230V) or E26 (120V) up to 60W. Both versions support LED light sources and operate across a voltage range of 100–240V, ensuring compatibility with the main international electrical standards including EU, USA, UK, Australia and Japan. The 400 cm white fabric cable and the included metal canopy complete the installation, allowing great flexibility in mounting height. The IP20 rating confirms suitability for indoor use only.
