Fun, historic table lamp for indoors. Frame with two metal rings. Stainless steel chains and decorative shell discs. On/Off switch on integrated transparent cable. Available in two finishes Chrome or Brass. E27 or E26 bulb not included.
In 1964, the Fun table lamp was born from an innovative idea of the designer Verner Panton who decided to use natural materials to create new design products, in this case the lamps from the Fun collection. The Verpan company re-proposes Fun where the modernizing element chosen by Panton is the shell, with its shiny pearly nuances. From the shells, very thin delicate discs held together are obtained by means of small steel rings forming chains, thus bringing a bit of the marine world onto the lamp. From here, a waterfall once illuminated, guarantees a semi-translucent and brilliant effect. This lamp full of history and creativity will give magic to different interior areas through diffused and enchanted light: on coffee tables, near fireplaces, on furniture in entrances and bedrooms in residential contexts, in hotel rooms and on reception desks, in showrooms and commercial stores as well as on office and studio desks. The Sixties are for Panton years of an elegant design that is never banal. The designer creates new furnishing accessories and lamps made using natural and unthinkable materials for the time, such as shells and mother-of-pearl.
Available with structure with two concentric chromed or brass rings.
E27 or E26 bulb not included.
