Verpan Fun 1STM floor lamp

The Fun floor lamp has a very elegant and inimitable style. It comes from an innovative idea of the designer Verner Panton who decides to use natural materials to create new design products, in this case the lamps from the Fun collection. The Verpan company re-proposes Fun where the element chosen by the Scandinavian designer is the shell, with its shiny pearly nuances. Very thin discs are obtained from the shells connected to each other by means of small steel rings forming chains, thus bringing a bit of the marine world onto the lamp. From here, a waterfall when illuminated guarantees a semi-translucent and brilliant effect. This lamp full of history and creativity, will give magic to different interior areas through diffused light and companionship: in indoor open spaces, near fireplaces, near armchairs and sofas in living rooms with various designs, from classic to modern; in entrances and bedrooms in residential contexts, in hotel rooms, in showrooms and commercial shops. The Sixties are for Panton years of an elegant design that is never banal. The designer created new furnishing accessories and lamps made using natural and unthinkable materials for the time, such as shells and mother-of-pearl, a source of inspiration for many other artists such as Paco Rabanne in his posthumous collections.
