&Tradition Tung side table

&Tradition Tung is the side table designed by John Astbury for the Danish brand &Tradition. A compact piece with a powerful sculptural presence, Tung was conceived to convey a sense of monolithic strength: its gently curved, cylinder-shaped legs evoke the architectural presence of ancient pillars, enhanced by a glossy and reflective surface that amplifies their sense of grandeur. Crafted from solid MDF, milled and lacquered, the result is a perfectly smooth and brilliant finish, available in blue and Burgundy red.

Despite the generous proportions of its oversized legs, Tung has been carefully scaled to fit even the smallest spaces, with a total height of 480 mm and an upper diameter of 380 mm. This balance between visual weight and compact dimensions makes it an ideal accent piece in the living room or as a complementary element in the bedroom. With its soft yet strong proportions, Tung plays with a series of contrasts that bring a classic aesthetic and a contemporary injection of colour to any space.
