&Tradition Tripod HM9 table lamp

Tripod HM9 is a table lamp made of lacquered metal with brass details, reflecting the clean minimalism of the duo Hvidt & Mølgaard, considered ancient masters of Danish design. Tripod's sculptural and sturdy design includes a heavy spherical component at its base, which helps maintain a constant balance and ensures that the tripod remains permanently positioned to provide a generous spread of light from its shade. This makes the body of the lamp look elegant and light, while the shade and base contrast with greater fullness, making it incredibly suitable as a reading light, on desks or bedside tables, and in any space that needs a minimal element. Hvidt & Mølgaard first produced sketches of Tripod in 1953, but the lamp never found its way into production until 2020 when &Tradition added it to its collection. Today it is offered in two standard color variants but which are capable of furnishing any space according to personal needs. For easy articulation and a more precise light, a swivel joint has been developed – a feature now seen across the entire Tripod range.
