&Tradition RFH RD7 Armchair

In close collaboration between &Tradition and the Robin and Lucienne Day Foundation, five different designs from the iconic furniture collection for the Royal Festival Hall were reissued in 2024. The RFH collection consists of an outdoor chair, an outdoor table in two sizes, an armchair, and a lounge chair.

The RFH RD7 is an innovative design piece featuring a gently curved back and armrests that extend outward, an original element that achieves a contemporary, two-tone effect. The armchair is composed of a beech veneer with a walnut front. Its striking “wing” shape is achieved through a pressure molding process. Three flat-head brass screws attach the black tube legs to the chair, adding a design element to the front of the backrest. The upholstered seat is available in Hallingdal 103 (charcoal gray) or Hallingdal 227 (light gray).
