&Tradition RFH RD7 Armchair

The &Tradition RFH RD7 Armchair is an iconic design piece reissued in 2024 through a close collaboration between &Tradition and the Robin and Lucienne Day Foundation, as part of a reinterpretation of the historic furniture collection created for the Royal Festival Hall. This wooden armchair stands out for its gently curved backrest and outward-extending armrests, achieving a refined two-tone effect: the structure is crafted in beech veneer with a walnut front, while its distinctive wing-shaped silhouette is achieved through a pressure moulding process.

Ideal for elevating a living room or a statement interior with a piece of design history reinterpreted in a contemporary key, the RFH RD7 combines formal elegance with outstanding craftsmanship. Three flat-head brass screws secure the black tube legs to the chair, adding a refined decorative detail to the front of the backrest. The upholstered seat is available in two Hallingdal fabric options: 103 in charcoal grey and 227 in light grey. Overall dimensions are 78 cm in height, 58 cm in width and 51.5 cm in depth, with a seat height of 46 cm, an armrest height of 66 cm and a weight of 7.5 kg.
