Raku is a portable lamp with a handmade ceramic base. Named after the traditional Japanese pottery technique, it is a compact lamp with a remarkable presence. Drawing inspiration from the ethical art form, the lamp features a hand-sculpted ceramic base covered in a crackled glaze, which varies slightly in each piece. As an advocate of craftsmanship and its value, Herkner has chosen two elegant metal variants for the creation of the rounded lampshade, with perforated details that allow the light to diffuse into the surrounding environment. A dimmable function can change the intensity of the light.

Raku is available in two color combination that reflect how Japanese design is connected to Danish design: blue green and brass or gray beige and bronze.
