Small but majestic, the Herman lamp created by designer Signe Hytte takes its name from the well-known Danish author Herman Bang. Much like the stories about him, the lamp offers a small beacon of light that has a literary quality. Delicately proportioned and crafted from honest materials, it possesses a strength of character that reflects his namesake, indeed Herman recalls those that would have sat on Bang's desk as he wrote his classics. It features a rounded shade made of opal glass, a richly colored walnut stem and a cream marble base, showcasing a selection of natural and tactile materials. Diffused light radiates through and under the lampshade to foster a welcoming atmosphere, encouraging a sense of tranquillity.
