Tom Dixon Dichroic Filter

Tom Dixon Dichroic Filter is an original accessory designed by Tom Dixon, created to update the Melt pendant lamp in the larger standard polycarbonate sizes. Applied to the large LED diffuser, the filter features a special PVD coating with dichroic technology that splits white light into its component colours, generating a psychedelic aesthetic and an even more intense chromatic effect within the iconic Melt surface. With a diameter of 159 mm and a total height of 57.6 mm, it integrates seamlessly with the geometry of the collection.

Compatible with all large polycarbonate shades in the Melt range, the Dichroic Filter is sold separately as a dedicated accessory for the existing collection. It is the ideal choice for elevating the atmosphere of a living room or any space that calls for dramatic, colour-rich lighting. The filter is not dimmable and reflects the refined construction quality that defines the British brand's signature approach to design.
