The TCI DC 12W 500mA BMU power supply is a built-in constant current driver engineered to deliver stable, reliable power to professional LED systems. Its universal input voltage of 100-240V ensures compatibility with electrical standards across EU, Australia, USA, UK and Japan, making it suitable for international installations.

With an exceptionally compact footprint of 66 x 50 x 22 mm and slot-based screw fixing, this power supply integrates seamlessly into professional luminaires for photography studios, stage lighting and similar environments. It is compatible with protection class I and II lighting fixtures.

Key technical specifications

The driver delivers a constant output current of 500mA at a maximum output power of 12W. The variable output voltage between 2 and 24V DC offers configuration flexibility, with a no-load voltage of 24Vdc. The housing is made of PVC with an IP20 protection rating. Input and output terminals are located on the same side, supporting cable sections up to 1.5 mm² (AWG15). Regulated current tolerance is -6% / +5% including temperature variations. The unit is not dimmable.

Safety and protections

The power supply features thermal and short-circuit protection, protection against mains overvoltages and overload protection, ensuring long-term reliability. LEDs should always be connected with the power supply disconnected from the mains.
