The TCI ELBT Emergency Light Kit for LED Lamps 12Vdc GU5.3 (ref. 123013) is a professional emergency lighting system designed to ensure continuous illumination during mains failure. Compatible with LED lamps rated 3 to 7W with GU5.3 base at 12V DC, it integrates seamlessly with existing electronic drivers for both professional and residential installations.

Thanks to its instant response at mains failure, the kit provides 1 hour of autonomy in emergency mode, making it ideal for lighting equipment in protection class I and II. It supports both maintained and non-maintained operation, adapting to diverse project requirements.

Main Technical Specifications

The kit operates with an input voltage of 220-240V AC and delivers an output voltage of 12V DC, with a maximum supply current of 20 mA. Its compact dimensions — 150 x 41 x 30 mm — simplify installation in tight spaces. The PVC housing ensures durability over time. The battery cable measures 280 mm and the LED cable 350 mm, with a maximum distance of 2 metres between driver and lamp.

Battery Performance and Reliability

The kit is equipped with Saft high-temperature Ni-Cd rechargeable batteries, capable of sustaining a permanent charge for at least 4 years at temperatures up to +50°C. The batteries deliver over 500 charge-discharge cycles, constant current during charge, zero maintenance, and a storage period of up to 4 months under standard conditions. A LED charge indicator and a protection device against extensive discharge are also included.
